Northwest Sign & Design has an immediate opening for a sign production designer. The sign production designer will be responsible for taking design intent drawings and producing files and drawings suitable for fabrication.

The Production Designer is required to hold a proficient knowledge of sign fabrication for electrical and non-electrical signage including monument signs, pylons, and all types of wall mounted signage from simple channel lettering to complex designs with multiple lighting styles and levels of dimension using Adobe Illustrator with a Cadtools plug in.

The right candidate will be able to efficiently produce drawings and meet deadlines, juggling many projects simultaneously. Organizational skills and habits along with careful attention to detail are critical to the role.

Responsibilities:
Interpret design intent drawings along with design director, project managers, and sales team, and production manager to determine optimal fabrication process to match quality and budget.
Create drawings for production that are clear and accurate
Produce full size files for shop CNC equipment
Revise drawings as needed to maintain accurate records

Proficient with Adobe Illustrator
Experience with Cadtools plug in desired
Knowledge of sign fabrication, especially electrical signage
Ability to meet deadlines
Excellent teamwork skills
Highly organized
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
